Listen.
Have you ever really listened to someone? Got below the surface to understand not just their ideas and needs, but their hopes, desires and fears?
This is the foundation of user research. You know you’re doing it right when you bring away a deeper, more empathetic understanding of their needs, but there is more to it than that. Can you deeply understand and appreciate the situations they find themselves in? The fear, joy or pain they experience when approaching a task? This is the root of empathy and the reason why I enjoy research.
On this page you’ll find some selected highlights from some of the interesting user research work I have completed.
